We would like to thank everyone for making NM2010 a success. It's been a great 4 days 3 nights with all of you being so cooperative and enthu! and funny. and cute and YAY...

Congratulations on graduating! I'm sure you loved the mini grad mortar. Have fun reading all the love notes on it and re-read it every year and think of the great memories you brought back with you from NM2010.

Your dormitory is prepared for you.

Without delay, let me check you into one of the delightful room in Chevrons. The cosy ambience in each suite is perfect for team bonding and relaxation! In addition, ears are removed from the walls, making it perfect for some nights worth of heart-to-heart talks.

Facilities wise, there is a swimming pool, accessible BBQ pits and various entertainment amenities. Chevrons is equiped to accomodate the needs of a hardworking student.

KTV is the favourite haunt amongst the experienced seniors. I can't say all of them sings. But they definitely makes helluva wonderful noises! =)

Do let me know of any needs and concerns. To end off, I wish you a enjoyable stay with us.

What is CNM?

"What does the Communications and New Media major offer?"

Well. Here's our take on the things WE like about our course!

• Related media theories that help us understand the new age metropolitan's media consumption

• Practical hand-ons modules to produce actual publications and creative materials (for people who like game and visual design :D)

• Learn about integrated marketing to utilise social media platforms effectively

• Equip us with the soft skills necessary for successful negotiation in the area of corporate communications

• Hone our situational analysis and critical thinking skills in handling campaigns and presentations

If ANYTHING here sounds interesting, then you can be sure to find out more about them during our chillax 4D2N Camp (includes chalet stay at the Chevrons)...

• Various opportunities (Luncheon talk, BBQ etc.) to speak informally with seniors and teaching staff

Assignment 1: Field Work

Dear Freshies,

This will be your very first assignment you would encounter in CNM Camp 2010. GEt ready to score!

This assignment involves going out into the field and embracing some sun. You'll learn how to properly hydrate and also the ultimate way of balancing work and fun!! Take a look at some demonstration photos from seniors.

Last saturday was our pre-camp. Lots of hilarious vids and photos were taken while the counsellors tried out all the funny games and activities HAHA.

Congratulations on successfully enrolling into NM2010, the module that teaches CNM students 'the principles of FUN'.

I'm sure you are super duper excited to find out more about both CNM and nus. The teaching staff is sure that you will learn to balance work and play in the course of this module, in the meantime, forge long-lasting friendships.
